Missouri Botanical Garden: Best of Missouri Market

Missouri Botanical Garden
Graphic Design Intern
Summer 2017

I loved going to the Garden on field trips as a child! The Koi fish in the Japanese Garden, the jumping fountains in the Boxwood Garden, the whole not being in class thing...it was the best!

It had been years since I had been the the Garden when I applied to be a Graphic Design Intern, and there was so much more to the Garden than I ever remembered. The Garden is rich with history, and I quickly fell in love with that part of the Garden as well as with the beauty of each of the gardens.

My main project for my internship was to create a style guide for my event, The Best of Missouri Market. From there, I applied that style to many different mediums of promotion: comp passes, rack cards, digital signage, billboards, program books and much more!

Digital Billboards, 2 rotating options

Comp Pass, used by different departments in the Garden for giveaways. Grants admissions into the Best of Missouri Market.

Lobby poster (22"x28"), "potty papers" (8.5"x11"), and table tents (5"x7") for promotion of the event around the Garden.

Rack card, information cards that visitors can pick up in the main lobby.

Digital signage, will show on TV monitors at the front desk with event information.

Program book, all information about the event, venders, activities, food, and more.
